Shopping in Yalta
Yalta offer lots of shopping opportunities, most of them are located along the main street and in the Sea Promenade (Naberezhnaya) which was recently renovated and is an attraction itself.
There are many souvenir shops in Yalta; you will find a great selection of Ukrainian and Russian goods, especially during the summer season. Most popular buys in Yalta are their excellent wines; the national drink, vodka, which is very cheap and plentiful in the city; and the famous red onions, which are considered a delicacy. Prices are low by European and Occidental standards, although if you don’t speak Russian or Ukrainian the prices tend to go up. ATMs are plentiful and most big stores accept credit cards. |
